The Ryfylke Tunnel, currently the world's longest and deepest subsea road tunnel, has significantly reduced travel time from Stavanger to Ryfylke. You can reach The Bolder in just 40 minutes by car from Stavanger or in 50 minutes from Stavanger Airport. For further directions, please refer to the map.

By Train
The nearest train station is situated in Stavanger along the Sørlandsbanen line, offering services to both Oslo S and Kristiansand. Additionally, Bus number 100, which operates between Stavanger and Forsand, departs from this station. For more details about traveling to The Bolder by bus, please refer to the “By Bus” section.
By Bus
To travel from central Stavanger to The Bolder, take bus number 100 from Stavanger to Jørpeland. Once in Jørpeland, switch to bus 120, which will take you to Forsand.
The Bolder is situated between two bus stops: Botne and Høllesli, both of which require a walk to reach us. Unfortunately, buses do not typically stop directly at our location. However, we suggest informing the bus driver of your destination to see if they can make a brief stop along the way. For more information, please visit the Kolumbus website.
If the bus cannot stop directly at The Bolder, an alternative option is to take a taxi from Jørpeland, which is approximately a 10-minute drive. In this case, you can contact Strand Taxi at +47 51745420.
